Giusto Manetti Battiloro for the Don Milani Foundation

The Don Milani foundation has conceived a photographic exhibition about Don Lorenzo’s life and the Barbiana school, the church in the Mugello area where Don Lorenzo operated since 1954 and wrote his major works like “Lettera ad una Professoressa” (Letter to a teacher).

The “photographic journey”, edited by Sandra Gesualdi with a critical review by Renato Barilli, is projected on a wooden structure built by the italo-canadian artist Antonio Di Palma, decorated with genuine gold leaf by Manetti.

The exhibition, supported by Giusto Manetti Battiloro, can be seen in the Sala Donatello, in the church of San Lorenzo in Florence, Mondays to Saturdays, from 10.00 to 17.00 until the 31st of January 2015. The entrance is free.
