Florence, September 2017 – After displaying his “Plant perspectives” exhibit at the palace of Versailles, Giuseppe Penone arrives in Florence for a large monographic exhibit curated by Sergio Risaliti and Arabella Natalini.
The protagonists of the exhibition are once again the famous tree sculptures, which, according to the artist, symbolise the perfect analogy between man and nature.
The bronze sculptures, made at the Artistic Foundry Del Chiaro di Pietrasanta, were hand-gilded using 30,000 24kt gold leaves produced by Giusto Manetti Battiloro.
