Composition

Base coat based on rabbit skin glue and calcium carbonate.

Use method

Shake the product well before use. Apply with a brush (Synthetic bristle "Perla" and “Ambra”brush series). Two to four coats are necessary before the surface is well prepared and ready for the next step of burnishing. Once applied and thoroughly dry, the product can be sanded and smoothed. It is recommended to use progressively finer abrasive papers to achieve a perfectly smooth surface. The area to be gilded must be completely smooth so that imperfections of the base do not show on the leaf, and the leaf does not tear.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, closed in its container and away from direct sources of light and heat. The suitable environment should have temperatures between 15 and 25°C and relative humidity not exceeding 50%.
