Composition

Synthetic protection is a glossy protective varnish used to protect gold and silver leaf and as an anti-oxidant for silver.

Use method

Before applying the product all surfaces must be perfectly clean, dry and free of fat deposits. Synthetic protection must be diluted 20-30% with ethanol and applied with a brush, spray or pad. The product dries fully in approximately four hours.Once dried, the glaze obtained will be bright and transparent.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place in its own container, closed, and away from direct light and heat. The ideal temperature is 15-25°C with humidity under 50%.

Additional information

Dilution percentage, application method and quantity applied may significantly affect the workability time. The most suitable application methods should be determined by experimentation on the basis of the surface being gilded and the desired result.
