Synthetic protection is a glossy protective varnish used to protect gold and silver leaf and as an anti-oxidant for silver.

DETAILS

The water-based protection provides excellent spreadability and adhesion on gilded surfaces, particularly with precious metals. Being free of synthetic components, it is gentler and alters the natural brightness of gilded surfaces less. It is UV resistant and does not yellow or flake, and is available in both gloss and matte versions. Ready to use, it is ideal for professionals, beginners, and hobbyists. Ideal for indoor gilding, yet also suitable for outdoor applications.

Outdoor - Protection for exteriors (component 1/2)

Ideal for protecting gilding in outdoor environments, it preserves brilliance and ensures high protection. Free of synthetic components, UV-resistant, it does not yellow or flake. Suitable for gilding in humid environments, both indoors and outdoors. Pre-catalysis is always required before application.

Outdoor - Catalyst (component 2/2)

Catalyst to be used in combination with the Outdoor Protection. The catalysis ratio is 20%, meaning one part catalyst for every five parts protection. It is important to catalyze only the amount of protection that will be used, as any remaining residue will tend to dry and become unusable.
