Red or transparent water-based varnish.

Method of use

The support to be treated must be perfectly clean and degreased.
Dilute the product 20-30% with turpentine and apply by brush in as thin layers as possible (recommended “Ambra” and “Perla” synthetic-hair brush series, p. 135).
Leaf can be applied 3 to 12 hours after application depending on format chosen. During drying protect the surface from dust.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place in its original container, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Ideal storage conditions are 15-25°C and lower than 50% humidity.

Additional information

Dilution percentage, application method and quantities applied may significantly affect the workability time. The most suitable application methods should be determined by experimentation on the basis of the surface being gilded and the desired result.
