Milan, May 2015 – The international launch of Gold Chef, the new line of edible gold and silver products by Giusto Manetti Battiloro, took place on a  magnificent stage at the Milan World’s Fair, and was introduced by the pavilion curator Zero Davide Rampello and by star chef Marco Stabile.

Recently rediscovered thanks to a famous gold leaf risotto by Gualtiero Marchesi, gold and silver have been used in the kitchen(*) for millennia, by the ancient Egyptians and Romans, in European Renaissance courts, and by apothecaries and alchemists. Thanks to the Gold Chef line, the warm brilliance of gold and the cool sparkle of silver are now available to anyone who wants to transform their food and beverage creations into unique and unforgettable sensory experiences.

Available in four formats (powder, crumbs, flakes and leaf), Gold Chef products are only made with pure gold (without the use of copper) and silver. The products are edible, food allergen free, tasteless, and imperceptible to the palate, and kosher compliant(*).
